INFORMATION
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
The main gate can be opened and closed using the latch and the code lock. We will send you the code via SMS. Please always make sure to close the gate when leaving the property.
The key to the front door can be stored in the key safe; its code is the same as the one sent in the message. If we are not present when you leave, please place the key in the key safe.

DOGS
For your dog(s), you’ll find balls, cloths, and a paw-cleaning foam near the entrance.
Please only allow dogs on the sofa within the protected (covered) area, and not on the bed at all—even if it is covered. Thank you!
Just so you know, the neighbor’s dog, Maszat, sometimes sneaks under the main gate to say hello. If this causes any issues, please let us know and we’ll suggest a temporary solution.
COOKING
The oven also functions as a microwave. To use the basic microwave function, turn the left control dial two steps to the left from its default position. The glass tray is placed inside by default. If you would like to bake, replace the glass tray with the oven rack or baking tray. You’ll find the user manual in the drawer below the oven.
SHADING
The pleated blinds on the windows can be fixed in place using two plastic clips each. There’s a small trick to keep them from falling off: when attaching them, pull the fastening edge all the way behind so it hooks securely on the back (window-facing) side and won’t pop off.
HEATING / COOLING
The house is heated with NOBO heating panels. You’ll find four units in total: in the hallway, in the corner of the living room, behind the dining table, and in the bathroom. You can easily adjust them using the up and down arrows. A setting of around 20°C is usually comfortable. In the hallway, we typically keep it at 17–18°C and keep the door closed.
When you leave and we are not taking over the house immediately, please set all panels to 16°C to maintain a base temperature.
You can also use the air conditioning for heating; we recommend this in milder weather.
For cooling, feel free to use the air conditioning. Please turn it off when you leave the house.
BATHROOM
On the shelf, you’ll find a Greenrococo MARSALA face mask with a small mixing bowl—feel free to give it a try!
No need to worry if water splashes out of the bathtub—the plaster is waterproof and has been treated with a protective coating.
COFFEE, TEA, WINE & BREAD
The coffee capsules and tea bags (and occasionally loose-leaf tea) placed in the black metal boxes on the shelf are prepared for you—please enjoy them.
The bread and wine (or other items arranged in advance) waiting for you in the kitchen are our gift to you.
If you need more coffee capsules, you’ll find extra ones in the upper drawer below the oven. Additional capsules can be purchased from us for 220 HUF each.
To use the Nespresso machine correctly: fill the water tank, plug in the machine, and switch it on. Once the small coffee light on top stops blinking, the machine is heated up. Insert the capsule (you may feel slight resistance when opening/closing the lever—this is normal; press down firmly on the top while turning the lever to make it easier), then press the coffee button and the brewing will start. Used capsules are collected and recycled.
GUEST PANTRY
The wines and other occasionally available products can be purchased.
You’ll find the price list here. Payment can be made either in cash or by bank transfer.
CLEANING
If you happen to need cleaning tools, the following are available in the house: a duster, vacuum cleaner, and broom with dustpan in the hallway. In the kitchen, you’ll find cleaning supplies in the waste cabinet drawer.
TYPEWRITER, POSTCARDS & ENVELOPES
“Erika”, our typewriter, is fully functional and a joy to use. Whether you’d like to write a letter by typewriter or by hand, feel free to do so—we’re happy to mail any sealed and addressed envelope for you.
You can also post your letter yourself in Csókakő at the post office (Kossuth Lajos Street 41/a) or in a public mailbox. The envelopes are already stamped.
YOUR CLOSEST NEIGHBORS: SPIDERS & INSECTS
Don’t be surprised—tiny spiders especially love being active around the house, particularly during spring and summer, and they can be quite quick! If you’re staying longer and they become a bit too present, we recommend using the ostrich feather duster located in the hallway. 🙂

The on-duty schedule of pharmacies in Mór (the nearest town) for 2026 is available here. Please note: between 10:30 PM and 6:00 AM, only the Patika Plus (Victória) pharmacy in Székesfehérvár is open.
